At the Global Marketing Meeting 2005 in Nuremberg, Adidas introduced all product news, details, innovations and marketing strategies. stereolize was entrusted to create the impressive screen content for a two hours non-stop live show, including the appearance of 40 dancers,15 Stuntmen’s, 90 extras and many famous athletes such as David Beckham, Michael Ballack and Zinedine Zidane. As highlight the brand new ball for the 2006 world cup was presented to the 4500 spectators on a gigantic 70 meters video wall.

With an impressive overall resolution of 6800 by 600 pixels the concaved shaped screen was the largest seen to that time.
The distortion resulting from the concave shape was corrected by the unique Screen shaping function of the real-time software Ventuz.

The screen itself was illuminated by seven projectors which were connected to only one single PC, equipped with a standard graphic card. Ventuz is using a real-time engine, which enabled us to create the whole content in only two weeks, as there is no need to undergo the time-consuming process of rendering films out of a project. This way it is also possible to implement changes in real time as tight deadlines and production schedules are usual. A lot of products including the upcoming world cup ball, were embedded as 3D Objects. This show once more demonstrated the revolutionary potential of Ventuz. More and more clients realize the power of interactive media to engage customers and create an emotional link between them and the products. Ventuz is the perfect solution for them.
