Masdar Clean Energy exhibition is an annual renewable energy summit held in Abu Dhabi. The Masdar Initiative presented their future vision of a city entirely relying on solar energy and other renewable energy sources, with a sustainable, zero-carbon, zero-waste ecology.

To achieve this goal, no car will circulate the city.This will not lead to circumstances for the residents as the maximum distance to the nearest public transport link will not be more than 200 meters from any point in the city. To present this innovative concept properly the Masdar Initiative aimed for an outstanding exhibition booth with a unique concept of presenting their project from strategy, conceptualization and visualization through to successful implementation. Entrusted with that task MAMEMO Productions and stereolize, having years of experience with high end touchscreen applications were hired.

Each station consisted of a touch panel to navigate through the content of three seamless plasma screens arranged. They were built from the ground up to include the complex product and nested options. To arouse interest in each visitor regardless of his or her individual computer knowledge, it was necessary to develop a graphically appealing interface, that was as intuitive to use as possible. The menu's different main categories were represented as spheres in a 3d environment, which could be rotated via touchscreen. With different functions such as playing embedded movies or running presentations on the respective topics every point on the menu could be visualized on the plasmas.

The biggest advantage of this is that the user is able to choose only the information he desires and is not forced to go through every part of the presentation
which might contain information he is not interested in. This part clearly shows the opportunities of Ventuz as this cannot be realized with a linear presenting tool.Everybody was fascinated by the unique realtime experience and the intuitive way to use it.

The Masdar booth became a highlight of the exhibition and attracted many visitors, who enjoyed the touchscreen stations. Together with our clients we are always eager to discover new solutions for their individual needs. Communication in todays time needs to be innovative and representative.
